Privacy policy
Last updated: 20 June 2026
Talyzo (“Talyzo”, “we”, “us”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information of you and your child. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, why, and how we handle it when you use talyzo.in and our Services. We follow applicable Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act).
1. Children's data — our special commitment
Talyzo is intended for children, but accounts must be created by a parent or guardian. We collect children's personal data only with parental consent and only as needed to deliver the learning experience. We do not show children behavioural advertising, and we do not knowingly use children's data for profiling beyond what is required to track learning progress.
2. Information we collect
You provide:
- Parent/guardian name, email address, and phone number (optional)
- Child's first name or nickname and class/grade (to personalise learning)
- Payment details (processed by our payment gateway — we do not store card data)
Collected automatically:
- Basic usage data (lessons viewed, quiz progress, scores)
- Device and browser information, IP address, and cookies (for site function and analytics)
From our lead forms (e.g. The Magical Maths Kitchen mini-adventure):
- Parent name and email, so we can send the download you asked for and helpful updates
3. How we use information
- To create and manage your account
- To deliver courses, quizzes, hints, explanations, and track progress
- To process payments and send receipts/invoices
- To send the resources you request (e.g. the free mini-adventure) and, with your consent, occasional updates about Talyzo
- To respond to support requests
- To improve our content and Services
- To meet legal obligations
4. Our learning platform and payments
Our courses are hosted and delivered through Graphy (a learning platform), and payments are processed by secure third-party gateways (such as Razorpay, PayU, Paytm, or Instamojo). These providers process data under their own privacy policies. We share only what is necessary to deliver the course and complete your purchase.
5. Cookies and analytics
We use cookies to keep the site working, remember preferences, and understand how visitors use talyzo.in (for example, via privacy-respecting analytics). You can control cookies through your browser settings.
6. Email and marketing
If you sign up for our free downloads or updates, we use an email service provider (such as Brevo) to send them. We ask you to confirm your email address first, so you only ever receive what you actually asked for. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. You can opt out at any time.
7. How we share data
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with:
- Service providers who help us run Talyzo (hosting, learning platform, payment gateways, email tools), under appropriate safeguards;
- Authorities, if required by law.
8. Data security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we work to safeguard your information.
9. Data retention
We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law. You may ask us to delete your or your child's data (see below).
10. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may:
- Access the personal data we hold about you or your child
- Ask us to correct or update it
- Ask us to delete it
- Withdraw consent (including for marketing) at any time
To exercise any right, email care@talyzo.in. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
