What the game teaches
Each ball is a quick addition or subtraction fact. Answering promptly and correctly sends the ball to the boundary, which keeps the practice brisk and playful. It is speed and accuracy with the number facts a Class 2 child is building — dressed up as an over of cricket.
The cricket words your child picks up
Along the way, the game uses real cricket vocabulary in the right context, so children absorb it naturally as they bat:
- Over — a set of six balls
- Duck — being out without scoring
- Maiden — an over with no runs scored
- Century — a score of a hundred runs
Who it's for and how long it takes
It's built for Class 2 children, roughly ages 6 to 8. A full six-ball over takes about three minutes — a perfect quick burst of practice, and very easy to play "just one more".
A bonus game, not a lesson
Cricket Maths Champions is a bonus practice game rather than a lesson from the course. There is no story chapter or new teaching here — it is pure, cheerful drill of adding and subtracting, with a coach who explains every miss. It's the kind of practice children ask to repeat.
